When Jennie Dykens first joined Owl’s Head, she arrived with over 20 years of experience in digital strategy and project management, along with an abundance of talent and passion. While in our ultra-collaborative Owl’s Head culture we all wear a few hats, Jennie has added a crucial new one to her hat rack, morphing her deep technical experience into a key role in business development with a focus on growing our digital sales and services.
In her previous role as Technical Project Manager, Jennie demonstrated her unique ability to wrestle with the day-to-day challenges of a project while at the same time seeing the big picture to help our clients devise and implement strategies to meet their overarching goals. Redirecting this amazing skill to identifying new business opportunities has been a logical and seamless progression.
A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Jennie has a BA in Public Relations from the University of Massachusetts and studied Media Studies at San Francisco State. She started her digital career in the bay area during the dotcom boom, later moving back east to be near family.
Because Jennie is equally comfortable working alongside entrepreneurs and C-suite executives, marketing directors and network engineers, artists and social strategists, she is ideally suited to connect with potential clients in different fields and at different stages of growth. She draws upon her skill at helping clients home in on exactly what they want to achieve and the best mechanisms for success. She asks the tough questions, sharpens the focus and brings together stakeholders, supporting and empowering clients at every level. We are thrilled to have Jennie spearheading our outreach and fueling our future.
FUN FACT: Jennie loves making soup, and often does so on the weekends. Chicken and Roasted Vegetable with Fontina Toasted Croutons is her personal favorite!
